Blogging to blog.

Last week I got notice my usual milk and egg stand was pulling out of the markets more or less by accident, just from chatting with the woman running the stand that day - something about the farm owner dealing with health issues, which makes sense and isn't something I can get angry about. Disappointed there wasn't more advance notice from anyone, but not angry. So I got a half gallon instead of a quart in case what the woman said was correct.

Turns out, it wasn't speculation. They weren't there yesterday, and they won't be there tomorrow. I've got several backup options for eggs and at least one for milk, and of all that I'm feeling, mostly a measure of resignation about the whole affair. That, and an idle echo of March 2020, in trying to figure out the next best option.
