raven on an abjectly beautiful autumn afternoon, enjoying the leaves, the sunshine, the birds, and some immaculate vibes.
Below that was lining up my next gig after this current one runs its course. I talked some with the woman I'll be working for, and while it's unlikely to pay as well per hour as the one I have now, she won't want me for as many hours per day or days per week - something I can live with since it pretty much balances out, at least in my head. Less income overall, but more time for myself.
Also of note was that yesterday morning I was poking at the webpage for the recent Ikea class action settlement, trying to figure out when I'd get the payout of my claim, and yesterday afternoon $25.04 arrived by check. It's nice to have that kind of timing.
