Dec. 30th, 2021 11:15 pmPigeons aren't morning birds. This is the third day this week I've gone to the usual area before lunch, and they weren't around.
Either that, or they've got a commute of their own, and circle back to that spot as the day goes along. Tomorrow, I'll see about heading out later to test the hypothesis that they'll be around in the usual spot later in the day.
It was strange, though, because biking out in weather like this where it's uncomfortably chilly without being cold, with flat skies that stay the same throughout the day, morning and afternoon are pretty much interchangeable, and that's making the days a good deal more abstract.
I did have a good time going to my parents' place this afternoon, though, for Scrabble and tea, and not having to worry unduly because of the test results from the other day.
