Bitter If Steeped Too Long (The Broken Orange Pekoe Remix), something which always makes me want to make a cup of tea.

What a Father Is (the DNA Remix), a fic which shows that humor and seriousness aren't mutually exclusive.

Time and Tide (DJ Lethe mix), a fic which remixed a drabble I wrote during a boring high school class and always reminds me why Pirates is one of the fandoms of my heart.

This year's was difficult. Not for the topics or content - working from home, under pandemic stress, it's been harder to engage with the community. As usual, I like starting the year with it. This year, I especially liked the feeling of being forced to get out a bit.

This year's pattern of every other day didn't do much for me, in part because I like the high pace of getting through the first couple weeks as a way to jump-start the year. I can't say if it'd have made a difference this year or not. It's too hard to judge from here.

I had a good time, and I'm looking forward to next year.
