Weather report.
Dec. 10th, 2020 10:35 pmYesterday was the first snow of the season, a light dusting that felt worse than it was because I went out biking in it. If I'd been walking it'd have been pleasant and gentle, and because I was on a bike, it whipped around me, the wind pushing at me, snow flying into my eyes, and hard as it was to physically move the bike, I preferred it - I got some snow time in, being out like that. If I'd just been walking, all it would have been was nice. But getting the snow like that, I could really feel it.
It was all gone by this afternoon. A very light dusting, followed by a clear, bright, warm day that felt like early spring instead of early winter, with the last few flowers in the gardens extra bright and the remaining leaves and grasses strong and deep in color. And not even a bit of ice left on the ground.
Today it was hard to move the bike, too, and I put that down to having done some kind of squat exercise every night for the past few days, and my legs are feeling it. Boy, are they feeling it.
