Dec. 5th, 2020 09:30 pmToday was another pickup of someone else's kitchen goods and perishables. Mostly frozen stuff, this time, lots of prepared food like falafel and veggie burger patties, some plan vegetables, all of which I was happy to take with me because it's going to be a lot of low-energy, low-cast lunches.
What struck me about this time is I got the stuff in bags which the person giving me everything said they were fine with me keeping, too. Not FreshDirect or old tote bags, but some really nice ones that clearly cost money. They're not designer handbag money, but at least "solid Target store purchase" money.
In addition to the food and a few freezer packs, they also came with a BlueApron menu card, two barrettes, a match, a couple crumbled receipts, the back piece of an earring, a three-part corkscrew/blade/bottle opener, and $1.82 in spare change.
I'd say this is a hobby well worth keeping up.
