Let the air waves flow.
May. 27th, 2020 11:35 amAt 4:10 last Friday afternoon, I finished the red pen edit phase. The notes I took from reading every page aloud, trying to find what caught and tripped my tongue, typos that the computer couldn't catch because "lid" is as much a word as "list", things like that.
At 11:35 today, I finished the last of the bracket edits. Things like double-checking Torah passages and the ages of the characters, food ordered in restaurants and songs listened to and books read that I didn't want to fuss about until I'd finished the main narrative and could take my time looking up vintage menus.
And with that, I'm as done as I can be with the manuscript of Fragile as the Sea, and I'm going for a bike ride.
