Quite the evening.

I'm back from a screening of Cinema Paradisio where I had prosecco, vegetarian sushi, lots of cheese, won an AuKing mini projector, and spoke to a reporter who thought highly of what I said and took a business card. I'm just sitting here very quietly now.

I finally put together a timeline for my current fic WIP, working out when certain things would happen and using that to figure out characters' ages for certain major life events. A side effect of putting it together means I've realized a lot of what I've already got down needs to be changed - for example, if a woman is however many many years old when she gives birth to her second child, these events will already have happened, so I need write the second child out of the story until its birth.

I'm not going back and changing it now, though. I need to get to the end of the narrative first. Then, I'll have a good idea of everything that needs to be worked on to make it better.
