Across the water.

One of my goals this month is to buy a new alarm clock. The one I have broke some weeks ago, and I've been using my iPhone's alarm function to get around that, but I miss having a straight-up clock that does all of two things: tell me the time, and tell me when to get up. It's nice to have something to glance at and get a sense of where in the day I am.

Given that I live in a city with watch repairmen and clockmakers, I could pay to get the one I have repaired for a reasonable amount of money. That said, I could also get something new - shift away from the single product I've been using since college. The model's been discontinued, so I might as well take the opportunity. I think this one looks particularly nice, especially in blue.
