Commit an Act of Kindness. In your own space, share what you’ve done, talk about what you’ve done, or simply leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
I found a worm of some sort in my bok choy. Rather than squish it right away, or throw it out the window, I put it in a glass jar with an extra leaf and let it go in a nearby park the next day.
As acts of kindness go, it wasn't a radical one to shift the world. It's probably been eaten by a bird by now. But I felt that if it'd survived all that way through the organic farm to my kitchen, the least I could do was let it live out its last days in something close to nature.
