Saw you in the shipwreck disco.

To keep the day from feeling barren, I made a cake. I also did laundry, spot-edited and formatted the chapter of Set Off Like Geese that'll be posted tomorrow, went to the bird rehab center and pitched in for a couple of hours, finished up a couple of petty online housekeeping tasks, and made tentative plans to travel to Ithaca for a family event next month.

Put like that, it seems okay.

As for tomorrow, I'll see what happens when I get there.
