ADLs on the down low.

It's a new month, starting on a Sunday, so of course I've run out of time to clean off my floor. Clean it up, sure; the mess is a lot more contained. But it's not quite cleaned up yet. Possibly by Tuesday, since I don't have my usual weekly responsibilities.

I did manage to make it to the birds today. Not for very long, and not with any treats, but I was able to head over for a couple of hours, chat with people, clean up some stuff that needed attention, and got some bird wrangling in. Someone brought in an American bullfrog, big and handsome, who I hope recovers from its minor injuries and recovers enough to return to a park or pond somewhere, and one of the swans had parked itself at the top of the stairs and wasn't budging for anyone. Everyone's bracing for baby bird season, so it's a minor lull period, which was nice to return to after some time away.

I'll find a quick-baking recipe to make for next week. Something I can throw together the night before without too much loss to sleep.

I also bought my train tickets to DC for Con.Txt, so the day's got that going for it, too.
