Barely on the map.
Mar. 1st, 2018 09:09 pmHaving finished the week's homework already, my big plans for a free Sunday are laundry and the gym. Also some cooking, if I can swing it.
What this week of crunch time has taught me is that I can fairly easily fit all my work into two or three days' worth of effort - maybe eight hours total, not counting the waiting time for discussion boards to generate enough activity for ongoing conversations.
Meanwhile, earlier tonight I got a call from someone who wanted to get me to switch phone companies, saying she could help with phone, television, and internet. I wanted to say I didn't have a TV, and what came out was, "I don't have a telephone."
To her credit, she said, "You mean you don't have a television." "Yeah, you know what I mean." After which she ended the conversation as gracefully as she could.
