Quite the sight.

The Hateful Eight is very much not for everyone, and it's very much something I'm happy I took the trouble to see in a 70mm roadshow film screening. Because, in addition to no trailers, the overture, the absolutely sumptuous images, and the souveneir program handout, there was an intermission. And in that intermission, because of the gender ratio of the audience, the line for the men's restroom stretched out into the hallway - but the women's had no wait at all. Just walk right in and out of there.

I've literally never seen that happen before, and that alone was worth my afternoon.
