Times have come.
Oct. 31st, 2015 09:15 pmMy parents' building has trick-or-treating hours set aside each Halloween, with participating apartments hanging glow-in-the-dark bracelets or special ribbons on the doorknobs to tell kids which apartments to try and which to ignore. Some people also set out bowls, to avoid any fuss.
My parents were left with a lot of leftover candy, and my brother and I were tasked to redistribute it among the bowls still out in the hallways.
Add making off with a few peanut butter cups to a viewing of The Frighteners along with a visit to a haunted house this afternoon, and I'd say it's been a pretty well-celebrated Halloween.
