Jul. 22nd, 2015 09:15 pmThere really needs to be a Mad Men vid about Peggy Olsen to “All The Nasties” by Elton John. It’d work for Don, or Pete, and even an ensemble piece, but as a full-series character study of Peggy - Maybe it would help them, help them understand/That a full-blooded city boy/Is now a full-blooded city man - it’d be strongest.
There also needs to be a Farscape vid about John Crichton to “The Circle Game” by Joni Mitchell. Again, covering the whole series - from Yesterday a child came out to wonder/Caught a dragonfly inside a jar/Fearful when the sky was full of thunder/And tearful at the falling of a star all the way to So the years spin by and now the boy is twenty/Though his dreams have lost some grandeur coming true - it wouldn't be really saying anything new, just saying it in a way that could be very graceful.
Maybe I just miss fanmixes that I could actually download. I haven't seen a lot of those lately, and I got a lot of good songs and bands from them.
