What I needed to do to recover was exactly what I did. Lots of sleep, a good deal of fluids, and going to bed hours before I usually do so I could sleep even more - and I woke up feeling fine.

I skipped my usual eggs for breakfast and just had three cups of strong tea, but when I was getting to work, I stopped at a little deli and got a bagel I ate before work. An everything bagel, toasted, with lox and cream cheese and onions and tomato, and it was good. No nausea today, and I'll see about going to bed a little early again tonight.

Bad, bad tofu. Nasty tofu. How I've learned my lesson. Bad tofu.
