I just finished the word-vomit write-first-edit-later shitty first draft of my current story. It's just over 50,000 words. It'll get a bit longer in the edits, and then get shorter when I ask other people to help me figure out what I need to change to get it good enough for public consumption.

I've never finished anything this long, ever. Not even grad school research essays.

And now that I've done it, I know I can do it again.

There's eight more stories in this cycle I've planned out, and in for a penny, in for a pound, and when that's done, there won't be anything I can't see through.
