Fill up my cup.
Sep. 1st, 2010 11:38 pmMy Pitt student ID expired today. If for some reason I'd been in Pittsburgh yesterday and wanted to get on a bus, I could have flashed my card and gotten on for free, but starting today I'm going to have to pay for rides.
Big things tend to need to be broken down into small pieces and specific parts to really be understood comprihensively. I've gotten used to the idea of not going to classes, since the idea of going to work means I'm still going somewhere. It's knowing I can't ride buses for free anymore that got me to stop what I was doing when that hit me, and just stand there for a while, trying to digest that. No buses. No classes, no buses. No school, no classes, no buses.
It's a way for me to really know everything's over. So it goes.
