Taking a break from essay work.
Jul. 18th, 2010 10:10 pmNo, really. I've got essay work from which to take a break.
Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Name 5 songs you love starting with that letter.

katernater and got D, and then went ahead and picked ten. And this is just from what I have on my computer, without browsing through my CDs - otherwise I might have ended up with 20, easy.
Decauter - Sufjan Stevens - the banjo is a deeply underused instrument in modern pop music.
December In New York - Thea Gilmore - if anyone wants to call fireflies 'fairy lights', it's fine by me.
Deep Red Bells - Neko Case - it'll send shivers up your spine and make you ask for more.
Delia - Bob Dylan - something that sounds like the way rain falling on windows on cold dark days looks like.
Diamond Dogs - Beck - paints a terrifying picture that the original didn't think to, but still needs more cowbell.
Disconnected - Cowboy Mouth - this is one of those songs that demands you sing along, or at least dance to it.
Distant Sun - Crowded House - they're right, sometimes there isn't anybody to blame, and it's good to have a reminder.
Don't Look Down - The Divine Comedy - who needs rhyme schemes when you can carry a decent narrative?
Don't Rain On My Parade - John Barrowman - I can't help but smile when I hear this.
Driftwood - Travis - more genuine emotion in three-and-a-half minutes than most movies coming out these days.
