Happy Lunar New Year to those who celebrate it, and happy dead gangster's day to those that don't. Either way, there was some cake in the ILS building's library today, so I'm covered for pretty much any celebratory events which fall on this date.

In unrelated news, given that I've finally saved my outstanding essay due later this week in a format recognized by Wordpad, if I e-mail it to myself and save it to my jump drive from a computer which recognizes said drive, I can work on it from the house. The absurdity of the situation is finally setting in, and I'm no longer deeply frustrated about the issue, just quietly amused. At least last night I was able to finish the drafts of my purimgifts pieces, so that's one minor commitment out of the way.

I've noticed not many people have commented on obsessive24's fabulous Firefly vid People Got A Lotta Nerve. That should be fixed, if at all possible.
