Saturday night drabble.

Day 12

In your own space, create a fanwork. Make a podfic, an icon, a sketch, a meta, or a rec list. Arts and crafts. Cross stitch. Draft an essay about a particular medium. Put together a picspam or a fanmix. Write a review of book you love, a ship manifesto, a you-should-be-listening-to-this-band essay. Create something. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Golden State, 100 words, MCU. Thanks to fandom-chat for helping with the commas.

Fresh fruit all year, that was a plus. A backyard garden, also nice – oranges, once an almost unspeakable luxury, now free for the taking whenever he wanted one. No subway to speak of and hardly any buses, but it was more walkable than it seemed at first. And a place without quite so many memories, well. But that part he wasn’t sharing. Not yet, at least, not when oranges were enough.

“What, are you planning on opening a west coast branch?” Tony asked him when Steve said where he was moving.

He’d had to laugh: “I’m just following the Dodgers.”

A change of scenery, and a place where he can have the quiet life, at least when the world isn't under immediate threat. Oh, STEVE.

Yay! Does Steve buy a proper post-war soldier's bungalow? If Steve and Bucky live together in a bungalow I NEED to know about it. :) I can just imagine Bucky eating a ruby red grapefruit one delicious spoonful at a time. Steve is sheepish about buying grapefruit spoons, but he does anyway, one for him and one for Bucky. Ruby Red Grapefruits are one of the most amazing advances of the 21st century. (My dad loved a grapefruit but he always sugared them)
