Something in the air.
How do I know it's spring? Because I swapped out my winter boots for my sneakers. Unfortunately, because they're nicer than my sneakers, I've still got to wear them to work. I've found myself in a rare case of actually needing a new pair of shoes.
In more engaging news, a new bird alert: a peregrine falcon at Riverside Church. I looked up as I was walking by, and saw something that was absolutely not a pigeon or starling or seagull, totally the right shape for a raptor but too small for a hawk - I'd read about them living there, but until today, hadn't actually seen one before. And now I know for sure.
