Incoming income.
This year, I'm getting a job for my birthday.
I didn't get the administrative assistant position I interviewed for, which I'm actually all right with - they wanted someone with a stronger command of spoken Hebrew, and as that's a specific, quantifiable skill I don't possess, I'm not angry or upset, just a little disappointed. That said, during the initial interview I was asked if I'd be all right coming in for some temp work down the line, to which I said yes. And I just got a call from the head of HR repeating the offer. So I said yes a second time.
The job is a four days a week, full-time, which means it'll be about ten hours each day. I've never had a schedule quite like this, but I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
It starts next Wednesday, the eleventh. My birthday. And it's a hell of a present.
