Progress and notation.

My hand should be healed in a week or so. In the meantime, a pair of fingerless gloves I got as an impulse purchase a few years ago have proved their worth by forcing me to keep my injured hand dry and not fidget with the wound. I might have to keep them on for a while afterwords - my hands are a lot warmer, and this winter, every little bit helps.

Speaking of impulse purchases, I might go ahead and get myself a juggling kit for my birthday. By the time it arrives, it'd dovetail neatly into my hands being free for play again.

And while I can't remember why I didn't say so then - I spotted two crows in the park last Thursday. I ran across the street to get closer to them, and managed to get underneath the trees where they were sitting to watch them for a while. No reason, even though there was a bus coming. I was just really happy to see some crows.

Are crows not common there? They weren't in Florida; I rarely saw them. Here in Minnesota they are everywhere, all the time, and that's one of the things I love about this place.
