Laundry icon congruency.
Today I decided enough was enough. In a forcible effort to stop losing socks, I've ordered some mesh laundry bags - intended for delicates, easily re-purposed for socks, a neat solution to my ongoing issue.
It's a recent issue, too. I lost a sock in the laundry today, in addition to two in January. But if this goes well, it won't be repeated.
I guess I'm lucky in that I've lost three socks in the ten-and-a-half years I've been doing my own laundry. Proud, possibly. But at the moment, I'll just have to be more careful with border patrol until reinforcements arrive.
