Pursuing your frenzy.
Another day, another job.
My old employer - the place that gave me the awesome title "cemetery records assistant" - wants me back on for December, to do some database review. It'll be short-term, full-time, for three to four days a week, so balancing my other two jobs along with it should be all right. I won't be able to head up to the New York Botanical Garden, which is all right for several reasons. One, this is a paid position, at a rate that's a little higher than my first job with them. Two, it's in a synagogue.
If there's anywhere I can escape the omnipresence of a New York City Christmas for a while, it's in a synagogue.
All that, and I'll be able to afford to take friends out for a couple of very nice dinners.
