The only problem with being caught up on Welcome to Night Vale is that I don't have anything else to listen to while I'm on the elliptical at the gym. The episodes are just long enough for a decent workout, it's got a narrative that keeps me engaged, it's clever and fun and makes me laugh out loud or gasp in horror without any regard for keeping quiet because it's that damn good. It's pretty much exactly what I need. And now I need something like it.

So, what's this Cabin Pressure show I heard about some time ago? That any good? Anyone got some MP3s?

Cabin Pressure is a whole lot of fun! I know there tend to be download links floating around (especially on Tumblr), and you can buy it too. I think it's ending soon, so there should be a box set out there too.

Have you tried The Bugle? It's a comedy news podcast in the same vein as The Daily Show except with a more international scope and light-hearted tone.

Cabin Pressure is fantastic and its characters will sneak up on you and surprise you with how much you've grown attached to them after not very many episodes at all. I would highly recommend it, so long as you don't mind feels.
