Don't run from the sun.
I think for my birthday tomorrow, I'll get a new messenger bag and some other tidbits from ThinkGeek, achieving a Ben Wyatt-like balance of 'properly functioning and still fun-loving' adulthood. Liberally seasoned with full frontal nerdity.
What I've really given myself is writing time. On Wednesday, I'll get back to the regular rigmarole of cover letters and applications, and today I did a little bit of networking, but I haven't done much in regards to the job hunt these past couple of days - and I managed to get to 45000 words, and I'm about two-thirds to three-quarters of the way done at this point. I hope to get it done before June arrives. I'd like to get it done before May, if at all possible, and I'll happily push myself to get it there. Assuming I have enough time with the rest of my schedule once it gets back to normal.
