All on my own.

My major accomplishments of the day were baking challah, and writing the components of a new segment of my current WIP. Not the segment as such. I have all the pieces down, roughly approximating their final form, but not in the right order. So that's the next session's work.

Winter's slowly passing, and I'm finally happy about that. I've been enjoying it for the most part, but today was one of the last days of what is probably the last cold snap - and right in time for my birthday, too. Yesterday when I walked around the grounds of the Botanical Garden I couldn't help but think of the winters I grew up in. The same sort of blank gray sky and empty trees, with it being cold enough for just a sweatshirt or light jacket. I was out and about in a light jacket and tights, which meant I was warm enough to appreciate the feeling of being cold. It'll stay like that for a little while longer. The liminal seasons tend to be my favorites. Moreso when they're in the northeast and the few weeks free of extreme cold and humidity.

Also, I've begun watching Scrubs, which is just as fabulous as promised.
