Anticipation.

I'm going to Paris in May. This fact might not sink in until the end of April.

I won't be going alone; it'll be a family vacation. Until the last couple of years before she died, my grandmother traveled extensively, and in doing so, accrued a significant number of airline miles. When my mother told me about this trip, she said my grandmother, her mother, would be happy for us to be using the miles for this - she always did enjoy Europe.

As I've never been to Paris, much less France, I don't know what we're going to be doing or what we'll be seeing. So if anyone has any recommendations, hit me up and don't be shy.

I loved the Orangerie, the Musee d'Orsay, and the Musee Cluny. The Cluny is this wonderful tiny medieval museum and will grab your inner historian by the hand and not let go.

Be sure to get creme brulee whenever you can.

It's been too long and I didn't do nearly enough of the things. If you can catch a show at the Opera it is worth the admission just for the building.
