What the world needs is an epic, novel-length Cornetto Trilogy crossover. Having finally seen The World's End with swankyfunk this afternoon, and having had some of the most flat-out fun watching a movie in ages - seriously, we clapped and cheered and even howled - that's a crossover I know needs to exist. Just think about it for a moment. Let the idea sink in. Realize just how beautiful it would be.

Hot Fuzz would've happened first, because Nicholas Angel wouldn't have left London if zombies attacked. The World's End comes last, of course - and again, Angel isn't leaving Sandford. Within a couple of months they've got generators up and running, still have a couple of motorized vehicles operating, one of the last outposts of civilization and stability.

He wouldn't rule the place with an iron fist, though. He's only ever Sgt. Angel.
