Two years ago, I'd be out looking for a fandom icon.
I beat Bioshock three days ago. I don't know why I didn't think to mention it at the time - no, check that, I know exactly why, which is because I beat Bioshock and even knowing what was coming and what to do, I was still shaking afterward. Good media experiences will do that.
No longer can I say I won't play first-person shooters. No longer will I say I won't. If the circumstances are right, when I can work through a game in a few weeks because I don't have to worry about doing anything else with my free time. So basically, whenever I've finished a fic.
I've also written a short post-game ficlet, about 1300 words I need to trim down somewhat, that could use another pair of eyes if anyone is interested.
Oh, and I have a job interview next Thursday. Short-term, part-time, and precisely the sort of work I'd love to do. So good vibes would be appreciated therein, as well.
