I can't quite believe it myself.

I need a long sit-down to reevaluate myself and my priorities. Because today I voluntarily tried on these shoes. And kind of liked them.

They still don't look like they match the silhouette of a typical human foot. And I kept feeling like I was leaning either too far forward or backwards. And I was walking with the very steady heel-toe pattern I'm used to, and that felt really weird without my whole foot being able to get onto the ground. I have no idea how well I'd do a day after wearing them and possibly also walking three to six miles.

But they were pretty nice.

Well, Fluevogs have an interesting foot shape ("last"), but if you're thinking about getting special-occasion shoes that are also comfortable and will last a long time, then those are the shoes you want to get!!

Personally, I could never find any styles that I really wanted to wear, and the ones I did like were always out of my price range.
