Wintertime precipitation.
It took until February, but I finally slipped and fell on ice today. I landed on my raincoat, though, and on a dirt path rather than asphalt, so I didn't even get wet or seriously bruised. As falls go, I've had worse - its only memorable feature being that it took until February for things to get cold and icy enough to even be a possibility.
The walk was nice, though, even with the fall and all the high winds. I knew if I didn't get out before noon, I wouldn't leave the apartment at all until dinnertime, and I'd rather spend a little time outside as well. So I walked 26 blocks to a fancy grocery store, bought some sushi for lunch, and walked back. It wasn't snowing, but it was nice and cold in the park, and almost no one else was out. If it gets cold enough for what little snow there is to stick, I'll probably go back out in it again tomorrow.
As for today, time to see about getting a little writing done.
