There's a subtle joy in making the night's wordcount. It's not a major accomplishment, not considering the size of the project and all the work that'll be needed when the Shitty Rough Draft is finally done, but it's still an accomplishment, and something that gets me even closer to finishing this story and being able to move onto the next.

Possibly tomorrow I should see about putting together my thoughts on what I was working on this time last year, Children of the Wanderers. I've been looking back on old projects a fair bit, that especially, and it'd be nice to write down what's occurred to me on days when I have cover letters to work on and can't get myself pulled together enough for creative-type compositions.
