hannah | The ongoing process.

I don't usually go back and edit while I write; if I do, it's usually to add or clarify a single point, or to tweak the last few paragraphs I wrote before getting back into the writing groove. No major sweeping changes or large-scale edits, not until I'm done. Although sometimes, a single change can be pretty major. As it happened tonight, I did go back and change one thing which fixed a major issue I've been having with the current section. All it involved was breaking it in half to maintain the narrative flow and even add a bit of tension.

I'm still not near the end, but I'll know it when I get there.

In other news, my dad took me out for a much more punctual birthday dinner tonight, and it was excellent, and there's a new Community ready and waiting for me.
