I'm back to working on cover letters late at night, drinking lots of black tea, flipping back and forth between figuring out the right words to express an idea and pacing around my room when I get a bit restless from all the tea. And honestly, I'm pretty happy about this. I'd be happier with a steady job and a private apartment, but on nights like this, I feel pretty good about life in general.

It's the writing, really. Just putting the words together makes me happy. Happy enough I think I have enough spirit in me for the night to open up the document and add something new to a story for the first time in almost a week.

Yeeha.
