Progression.

I got to the offices almost a half-hour early, so the interview started twenty minutes ahead of time and still took over an hour. I know I did fairly well - there were a few times when my interviewer said "good answer" to a response, and if I had trouble thinking of an answer right away I made sure to say 'hmm' or 'please give me a moment to think about that'. And I got her to laugh, which is always a good way to be memorable.

If I did well enough to get into the pool of candidates for a second interview, I'll know by February.

After it was over I took myself to Aroma Espresso for a halloumi sandwich, which was one of the more intense sandwich experiences I've had in a while, then Bath & Body Works for brightly-scented hand lotions, and then the HBO shop to get a four-pack of Tru Blood without having to worry about shipping, where I got to talk to a clerk who'd beta-tested Magic: The Gathering. Which I suppose is only supremely cool for a very specific stripe of geek, but if you're in that stripe, I'm sure you understand completely. I really should use my Bag of Holding more when I go out.

And in the meantime, I'll see what research for this Saturday I can do now that my afternoon's wide open.
