Sooner or later.
Today I learned it's brave for a woman to not wear make-up. Who knew?
For context, I was in the bathroom and saw a woman fussing with some lipstick. I told her, "Don't worry, you look fine" - something I do pretty much every time I see a woman fussing with make-up in a bathroom, since they do look just fine and it never hurts to get a random compliment. It didn't hurt this time and got the woman to smile and laugh, so we got to talking a bit - and I told her I didn't wear make-up, not even lipstick. And she said it was a brave thing for a woman to not wear any.
I held myself back from saying I didn't wear any because I don't want to spend the time on it. There's no ulterior motive, no crusade. I just want to spend time on other things.
She said I looked good, and I could tell she meant it, so I guess it's all right.
