Shake 'em on down.
I had an internship interview today, and I think it went pretty well. I answered some questions in ways that made the interviewers nod and smile and others in ways that made them laugh genuinely, so I'll chalk my immediate post-interview blues up to wanting lunch and worrying about rain. No news of "you can come in on Thursday" so I'm not holding my breath, just sighing wistfully.
Also - because the building I live in is a community center and tends to have a lot of kids around - when I was waiting for the elevator today after a visit to the gym I saw a bunch of kids carrying things from one room to another, and one girl with stuff in her arms complained, "This is heavy!"
"Good!" I said to her. "That means you're strong!"
I don't know if she heard me, but I like to think she did, since more little girls need to hear that.
