Goings-On.

Earlier tonight I asked a girl I was chatting with if she wanted any tea.

"Is it low-fat?"

I honestly had to stop and think about how to respond to that.

The other highlight of the day was overhearing a boy share the bathtub shower stall with a girl from the floor. Yes, I alerted maintenance - look, if you're going to break the rules, at least be smart enough to not get caught. Waking up with a small two-square-inch rash on my nec kthat feels like it spread from my chest was more confusing than anything else.

low fat tea?

hello, Little Miss Orthorexic.

Yes, she's on a diet. Yes, she's a model. And yes, she eats a lot of pre-cut fruit and vegetable pieces with a bit of chicken thrown in.

But really, how do you respond to that question?

Tell her you're making tea because you're all out of Diet Water :)

if you're trying to be nice and still truthful to your own values, say 'i don't think you have anything to worry about.' If you're trying to be Chris when you grow up, say 'we're all out of low fat tea.' (he suggested that.) I suggest the former, if you're trying to make friends. :)

Why are you living in an episode of Gossip Girl?

Because the sign-up sheet for Jackass was full by the time I got there.

I am sitting here smiling at the question about low-fat tea.

If she thought I meant bubble tea, maybe, but I was talking about warm leaf water!

You should have told her it wasn't low-fat, but it was vegan-friendly.
