That's that, then: I've finished my last essay for class. Which might be the last class thing I ever turn in, ever. It's a nice thought. I feel like I should be more excited, but writing an essay and sending a copy by e-mail isn't as thrilling as walking out of a testing room or delivering a monologue. But it'll do.

In the meantime, alcohol is in order.

And how is everyone else out there tonight?

We're watching the adaptation of Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth on Starz. It's okay, but there was way too much exposition in the beginning and I'm not sure we'll watch the rest of the mini-series.

I'm feeling shaken, not stirred -- there was an earthquake here that, while minor, shook me up more than they usually do. It was the fast, jerky kind, and it felt like the rug had been pulled out from under my feet.
