I'm feeling much better for having ranted; I ought to do that more often. Cooking a dinner that involved a bunch of steps and plenty of chopping and mincing helped a lot, too. There's nothing like garlic and eggplant to give some distance to problems. Listening to the soundtrack to Good Night, and Good Luck. and cuddling Chalk is helping, too. I'll return the shoes tomorrow and move onto another project, and wash my hands of the whole mess.

Also order some shoes online, possibly from Zappos, since I've heard good things about that place.

And in other news, watching Leverage tonight and realizing what people store on their computers and how many files Alec downloads, I'm now convinced he's got one of the best porn libraries out there.

I am glad you feel better. I hope you find a way to solve the problem with your project. It is so frustrating to have a job you have to do without the vision to know how to do it. We all have areas that we can't handle well. I know one of the things, when I am having an especially difficult time, I have a nearly impossible time remembering is that there are things that are easy peasy for me that are practically impossible for others, and vise versa. For example, I am fairly good and visualizing things in new ways but I have a hell of a time trying to visualize mathematical things for problem solving. This is a challenge when I am trying to develop lessons for the math people in my class because I am such a verbal person. I have decided that this year I am going to ask for help. I have heard good things about Zappos. I hope they work out for you.
