Dell moved the delivery date of my new computer up by a week.

I've passed the "oh fuck" and "cry in the bathroom" stages of this news, and will bring my old laptop to ITS this Friday to fix the wireless - the time they would've put Microsoft Office and associated software onto the new laptop - and I've already e-mailed my landlady and housemates and basically begged them to stay in the house that day, and even offered to pay them for the waiting.

I don't know how else to deal with this whole mess, other than to keep moving forward.
