Sunday night.
Snow is always a variable quantity; it was a bit under an inch where I live, which is enough for park sledding but not enough to shut down the roads. It came down much harder elsewhere, shutting a few stands out from the markets. I'm now faced with a luxurious inconvenience: having to wait for tomorrow to buy milk.
Without the stand that's my main reason for going, I decided to forgo the market today, do laundry early, then go to the gym and do lunch prep. In doing so, I made it up all ten flights without stopping - something worth remarking on after having spent several weeks not taking the stairs.
