I showed up today for an appointment I wasn't supposed to have. I didn't mind so much - it was in my neighborhood, I wasn't hurt or harmed by the cancellation - except that the client had cancelled the afternoon and I hadn't gotten anything about it. No email, no text message, no voicemail. We checked her phone and her computer, and there wasn't anything. We were both of us more baffled than upset.

It turns out her email went to my secondary backup Gmail address.

If anything, I'm even more baffled as to how that could happen to begin with.
