Don't wait on me.

Last Saturday, I finally made inroads on cleaning out my apartment. I let everything live in one of four categories: recycle, compost, trash, and object. Yes, there were a few things to compost - a couple hard candies that were probably safe which I didn't want to contemplate. As for objects, it was stuff like a whole bunch of La Fermière ceramic pots that held things nicely, but once those things went, there wasn't any reason to keep the pots around.

It's helped considerably.

I'm thinking of taking the bag of objects and leaving it somewhere for people to paw through. Investigate it on their own, see if they find anything they like. Though I might separate out the pots, since there were enough of those someone might want them specifically for eBay reselling.

It's still not quite enough - I haven't sorted through all my socks for the ones with a hole in the heel to send off for fabric reclamation, for example. But it's more going on than there was even a week ago.

Congrats on the cleaning spree! It can be so difficult to get around to starting something like that, but it always feels so good once you get into a groove.
