Sudden existence.
Get this: Someone on my Twitter feed was commenting on a specific piece of New York City real estate. I knew the general neighborhood he was talking about, so I hit up some realtor websites to check which building he was talking about, cross-checking by price. Turns out, I canvassed the specific building in question back in the 2020 census, and I was able to tell him why the owner finally dropped the asking price to put it back on the market.
The sheer number of factors going into one of this guy's Twitter followers being able to say 'I know that building' is high enough I'm still giggling over it.
Also, this means I have two short anecdotes about this building where I've never even stepped foot into, which is one of the most delightful "two nickel" situations I've had in quite some time.
