Tumblr seems to be imploding, and the new update screen for Dreamwidth is not my idea of a good time. This is giving me a tension headache and amount of stress I don't even associate with international travel.

I'm going to use the TumblrThree application to download the main tags on my Tumblr blog, one at a time, cursing that I can't figure out how to be more efficient about things, and set up the request for a Tumblr blog export without any idea of how long that's going to take. I just hope it's not so long I can't grab the stuff I want to keep.

Hi, here through Network, I sympathize with the new update screen not being your idea of a good time.

Can I offer some hints/troubleshooting for how to possibly make it better? Or should I just mosey on off?

I exported my Tumblr blog in November 2022. It will export everything (including conversations and posts), and may take at least several hours to download. Depending on how large your Tumblr blog is, you will need several GB of storage space available. My download last year was 16 GB.
